I have been a high school English teacher for more than 30 years. Teaching writing is a large part of what I do.
Prior to that, I wrote radio news for almost four years.

Thanks, Bob. It’s taken me a while to find a comfortable, conversational style for my online writing. When I first started, I was stuck in essay mode, with a way too formal writing style. For online blogging, you need to write more like how you speak. Except with punctuation marks. 🙂
