I have a lot of disjointed material and some that fits together pretty well. I am thinking about putting up a catalog page and just promoting the page as a cheap way to get specific information on the topic you are struggling with.

Has anyone done a “Catalog Page” without separate sales letters for every product?

    Ideas?

I haven’t done a catalogue page, but I’m not fond of the idea.

    Let’s take an extreme example.

Think how much training Sean has.

Have you ever seen a catalogue page?

In eight years, I never have.

Instead, he asks his list if someone would help them. When he knows what they want, then he records new material, adds some evergreen training he has on hand, and then presents the exact product that people want.

A catalog or index can work well for helping folks find what they need, Scott. But you shouldn’t attempt to sell from there. Link it to a product page.

there are themes out there (don’t ask me which ones!)

that can turn each post into basically a short form sales letter (take a look at GKIC’s website, at one time they used something like that)

because with lots of low cost items, you wouldn’t need full sales pages – just bullet points, one pain question, and a payment button

you could have a membership where they get everything in that catalogue for one low price, too

    woocommerce I think has one

but there are others, and could probably be done as a plugin

    look for ecommerce plugin

    then configure it

it might take some digging, but I’ve seen one before

(anyone else know of one like what I describe?)

Scott, my first products online were French as second language curriculum components for homeschooling families. I started that business in 1995 and you can see it is still going.

Thank you for your kind words.
