The Order of Operations for Achieving Your Goal
For this lesson, I’ll keep it short so we can get started on doing the actual work quickly.
But I really want you to know where this is all going as you are going through it.
I’ve shared with you the importance of the process and the daily schedule, so you know what you have to do to achieve your goal and so that you know what you need to do each day to achieve your goal after x number of days, for example, 90 days or 365 days, or whatever.
So here is the order of operations, the things that need to occur in order for your goal to be realized (achieved):
Set your Big Goal (A goal that is measurable and has definite stated results)
Determine the Steps to achieving your Big Goal
Break those steps into do-able components
Break those components into monthly chunks so that you know what needs to be done each month
Break those monthly components into weekly chunks so that you know what you need to do to achieve the monthly goals
Break those weekly goals into daily chunks (or a daily schedule) so that as you do each day’s work, it adds up to achieving your weekly goals, and the weekly goals add up to your monthly goals, and as you complete your monthly goals, they add up to your Big Goal!
So–> you then have your daily schedule.
Then you DO your daily schedule.
Now, once you have your daily schedule, then we’ll go into the motivational techniques you can use to stay motivated, on track, not distracted, focused, and productive each day so that as the days and weeks and months add up your daily goal gets done!
