I do agree that it is alright not to work on all parts of your business everyday. Some days it may make sense not to work on your business at all.

I do think you should look over all of the parts of the business everyday, even if you just take 60 seconds and take no actions. There are several reasons for that.

One is it keeps the subconscious mind active. It may come up with some good ideas by the time you get around to that part of the business again.

The next part is what I call exercising the habit. When I was seriously ill I couldn’t ride my exercise bike. Some days I was better than others, but a lot of days I was in no shape to exercise at all. I knew that exercise was key to recovering my health and fitness, so I made a vow I would sit on that bike every 24 hours. If I felt like it I did a little. If I didn’t feel like it I put my feet on the pedals and made one slow revolution. I would try again tomorrow.

If I couldn’t exercise my body, I could exercise the habit. In just over a month I was exercising on the bike every day. In three months I was as fit as ever.

Continuity is key to success. Any gap can be your downfall.

If you don’t work on your business, I suggest you work on your habit.
