I must admit I have not use slideshare.net and I noticed today in Sean email “does this sound familiar?” he recommends using it as one of his repurpose tools

    Quote from email

“You need to write a high quality blog post twice per week, and then repurpose it onto SlideShare, YouTube, and Mention. You need to connect your blog with Blogarama, comment on blogs relevant to your niche, join Facebook groups and participate there.”

If you are using could you give me some advise on what works ie length of slideshow, graphics versus text only or any help as all.

I know this is only one thing he recommends, but one thing at a time works for me.
    Thanks 🙂

Good question, Tina. It’s new to me, too.

I use slide share and several other document sharing sites. I don’t put that much effort into these sites. I will use an article break it down into paragraphs for the slides, I will use my old ebooks, and even repurpose plr.

Yes, you get views to your slides and some will join your list. I use these sites mainly for seo.

Slideshare is the same as any other platform.

To make it work for you, you have to dominate it in your niche.

Slideshare is the largest search engine on the Internet for presentations. In other words, it’s the Google of presentations.

Let’s say you write a great blog post.

The next logical thing to do is to create a presentation with the information that’s in it.

You save it as a PDF and then upload it to Slideshare.

Then you record yourself read the text on the slides, save it a an MP4, and upload it to YouTube. (YouTube is the largest search on the Internet for video, and it’s owned by Google.)

Can you now see the value of this platform?

You may have to do 50 of them before you start to get any traction; but that’s true of all of them.

Folks, I thought I’d share my own slideshare page here: https://www.slideshare.net/seanmize/presentations

I have generally used it in the past just for another way to “get content out there” but have anecdotally seen leads come in through there . . and keep in mind, it’s not something I regularly update. . .

If I WERE to regularly update it and keep it part of my active daily activity, it would likely show well in google, and drive good leads as well.

Slideshare is also a great way to share presentations without having to count on recipients having the right software to view them . .

Yes, I use slideshare as part of a system of posting. I create Linkedin publishing article, which also serves as the transcript for a YouTube video with PPT slides; PPT to slideshare; post a link to the Linkedin article on my blog (AuthorityMarketingMastery.com); YT video repurposed on Facebook Live using a free software called Xsplit; infographic created + posted on Facebook to 1 group (Authority Marketing Mastery) + on 2 pages (Authority Marketing Mentor + Authority Mentor). In a normal week, I spread the content posting on social media so that I post a link to something every day to the group and the pages.

Slideshare is part of the repurposing chain.
