Can You Recommend A Good Web Hosting Company?

I need to change web hosts, and I’d like to know which one you would recommend. I had a horrible experience at Hostgator, so I’m not considering them. Thanks for your help!

Hi Jan,
I found Blue host to be excellent. Especially in the customer service department. I only stopped using them because I never launched the website I had planned. Which is my own fault, and nothing to do with them.
They have access to trainings and, as I said, their support was always superb in my experience. Support can be live on screen, email or phone, and queries are answered swiftly and in detail. Also super easy to launch the latest WordPress sites from within their control panel. In fact they are one of the best hosting companies, if you are a WordPress user, as they understand that platform intimately.
The only gripe is that you pay annually, there is no monthly option (at the moment, and as far as I know). But because of that you get a great deal paying upfront for a whole year.
Just be aware that, as with all hosting companies, you will offered lots of bells and whistles, most of which you don’t need, as long as your business is still relatively small in scale.

I’ve been with Hostgator for years with nothing but great results, so can’t help from experience. But I have heard really good things about BlueHost so Leslie’s recommendation might be a good one. Good luck in your future hosing and sorry about any bad experience you had with Hostgator. I have actually heard nothing but good and had nothing but good about them. Has to happen sometime. Just sorry it was for YOU.

Hi Jan,
I have been thinking about changing from Hostgator for a while but not because I had support or working problem – for me that has been great but for price.
I was checking around and I heard Blue host was okay – cannot verify that.
I did check into a company called inMotionhosting.com
I am not am affiliate but if I switch I will go to them.
There is a guy names Adam from WP Crafter that does YouTube Videos that is very informative on that and all sorts of Internet and WP things.

I hated HostGator. They made it incredibly difficult to do anything except send them money.
I was with BlueHost for years. Then a friend offered to put my sites on his server for free. So now I’m with SiteGround.
SiteGround’s customer support seems to be better than BlueHost.
