I’ve never done one, and they just aren’t my favourite thing, but they seem to work well for others.

You can easily do a webinar with something as cheap as Zoom. I’ve heard that webinars become great passive income for people when they automate them. I also haven’t done one yet.

I am working on one. Power Point voice over. I need some encouragement to finish it.

Someone tell me they will solve the world’s problems and I had better get it done….

I haven’t done a webinar for awhile, but a couple of years ago I did a weekly series for quite a few months and then turned them into Udemy courses that are still selling today.

I’ve heard that the way a lot of people write their books is by doing a webinar! It seems to be a good structure for organizing all the material filed inside your head.

Carol, I see you also posted about udemy in another post. I have been thinking about doing a free introductory course at udemy. Something with real value and some exercises. I am not sure about the terms of service, but I thought about linking to a website for more free downloadable content. It seems something like that more or less is what you did. Can you elaborate?

I was looking at it as a traffic source and then bread crumb them to a subscription gift, all while doing a little good in the world.

    Thanks,

Udemy is a good place to develop leads, but it takes plenty of work.

Scott, do you hear that sound? It’s me cracking the whip. Get that presentation done already! The world is waiting!

But, seriously,… is it that you don’t want to present live? You can always record it ahead of time. Just see what’s holding you back and find a solution so you can get it finished.

We are all cheering for you!

I just personally think that live presentations at a set time are too restrictive. I won’t usually watch them. If it does make a big difference then I will do them, but not if you can just do an on demand recorded one and get as good or even better results.

I think much of the point on the internet is to use technology to not have to work over and over again.
    Thanks,

Many marketers have moved to “evergreen” webinars that can be accessed over and over. Done well, the viewer really can’t tell if they’re live or not. One thing about “restrictive,” Scott, is that asking something of the prospect helps qualify that prospect.

My own impression is that webinars work well for those that have huge lists.

I guess that makes them an “advanced” strategy.

Considering the complexity of running a live webinar, I’d stick with something that was simpler and less time-consuming.

One exception is to do FaceTime Live on Facebook.

I don’t know the ins and outs of this, but you do need to have a group.
