I have the first session up online.
I have put a logo and picture on the link page and below the red is session 01.
If you are interested and want to help just go to http://www.threestepstowealth.com/three-steps.html
Click on the link to see if it works and let me know what you think.
I have to work on the frames and text, but I have to change computers to do that.
Thanks!

Update
Session 2 is up on the website now.
Three to go.
I would appreciate your opinion on the look of the page with the picture and logo, if the session links work and what impressions you have from the recordings.
Thanks!

You have a lovely rich, “down-home” voice. That makes you easy to listen to. 😉
Not sure how much this has to do with frames, etc, but I think that your picture and the logo to the right need to be bigger and closer together.
You’ll need to experiment with the size and distance to see what look the best, but right now they look too small and the white space in-between them seems excessive.

First off let me say, WOW!! I absolutely love the content, your voice lends itself well to audio(you sound great)! I thought I was listening to a Simon and Schuster recording.
I agree with Bruce there is far too much white between picture, logo, and title.
I would add a part 2 to the second introduction, I was not going to click on because I thought it was the same lesson.
As for the free audio/text I would put it together like so. Free Audio/Free Text.

Hi Scott
I really like your voice and the content. I like the conversational tone that you are using in your recordings.
Personally, I would change the “Buy Bathtub Economics” button. My first impression was that the button isn’t showing correctly on the page, but it seems that Weebly offers this kind of buttons.
I would also add some picture to show in what format is your content available. I’m mentioning this because from my experience conversion rates are higher if the visitor can actually see (not just read) what he will get (after the purchase or opt-in). I think it’s worth doing a few tests.
I will add an example below.

Adding and Changing
I just put the third session up on line.
I have been following some of your suggestions. I did change the picture and logo, but I am thinking with frame spacing I probably need to make a graphic with both that I have better control over and use that. It will be easier to duplicate the result if it is just one image.
I did add part one, two, three in the link titles.I added audio program as text with a little more of a description. I will probably dig up or make an audio graphic too.
This is my last full day before the surgery, so I have some other things I have to do. Hope to at least record the last two sessions today.
Here is where I am in the strategy: Build the platform and fill it up with a decent amount of content and a few offers. Next send the traffic.
There is a lot to this, but Google wasn’t built in a day 😉
Thanks and please feel free to continue to comment

A Few More Minor Changes
Made the three steps page picture and logo smaller, Added a quick start button with pointing hands.
May put a quick start link higher up on the home page.
Don’t have much more time this morning.
Please continue with your comments and suggestions,
Thanks to all!

Sort of using this topic thread for an accountability device.
Just finished recording the last two introductory sessions.
Have a lot of editing to do to take out the coughs and such, I am struggling with allergies.
Hopefully this evening I can get that done. It is easier to record when the house is empty and I can edit with headphones tonight
while the grandson plays swat in the hall with his police, soldiers and matchbox cars and the wife is blending ice cubes in the blender for her diet shakes.Keep the comments coming!
Thanks to all

Five are Live!
All five sessions are up and live!
Big effort to get it done before my surgery and Thanksgiving, but I thought I had to or lose momentum and continuity in the recordings.
Comment if you like.
I don’t expect people to obsess over my website, a lot of this is being able to use this thread as an accountability device.
Still, I would appreciate your opinions and ideas…

Ouch
That landing page is a bit confusing and weak, Scott. Needs a tune up severely.

Confused
Don,
First off, thank you for your reply.
I may be confused and severely need a tune up myself. I don’t consider it a landing page. I look at it as a content page and part of the platform. Sort of like what Sean is doing here, but I may be off track.I consider a landing page to be somewhere you usually send traffic to in order to get someone to sign up to your list so they can get a free offer.
It is any page you send someone to and they land on for a specific purpose, usually to get them to sign up.
Similar to a squeeze page.I am looking at putting ads and or offers on all the pages that would send them to a squeeze page.
Are you talking about the home page or the quick start page, or something else?
Raises the question what is the difference in a landing page and a squeeze page?Could you elaborate?
Thanks again, you may have pointed out something I have messed up,

Hi Scott, sorry I haven’t commented I will have a look over the coming week. I wanted to take the time to listen to what you have in the five recording not just give a generalization. Take care 🙂

Hi Scott:
Sending prayers for a safe and successful surgery.
Love the story telling! I’ve only heard part of part 1, but enjoying it so far.
I wonder if it would be more compelling to name each audio file something that indicates what is in that segment to benefit the listener.
Since I don’t know what is in the recordings yet, I’ll just make up some examples.
Part 1: Why You Must Take These Three Steps To Create Wealth
Part 2: Focus: how laser focus makes wealth creation easier
Part 3: Taking Action: why you must make new choicesKristin van Tilburg

Part 1 Audio
Hi Scott:
I really enjoyed your audio part 1. I already admire you so much! Anyone who can sell peanuts the way you did was bound to be a success sooner or later!
As a customer with a money problem I would be unhappy to have given you 15 minutes of my time and heard nothing about the 3 steps, only a story about you. And especially when you directed me to a legal disclaimer, that brings up a lot of fear immediately. I would leave and not come back.
I think you need to help me first, let me know you have answers for me, and then I might feel justified in spending time being entertained by your story. When the bills are due the last thing I have time for is a story that has nothing to do with me.
That is my 2 cents. Take the best and leave the rest.
Kristin

Kristen,
You may have something there about the holding off on teaching the steps, but I know from experience that if you start with the financial information first it never works. I have a more captive audience in my practice or group training.Maybe I come out with the steps more in the beginning and then tell them I found it doesn’t work without the psychology and the exercises and that I will get more into the steps after I touch on that.
The stories teach a lot and set up for the information.
I am thinking about Napoleon Hill and Think and Grow Rich. He says he can’t come right out and tell the person the secrets to success, but they are hidden in every chapter.
Here is a question, you might be unhappy if I didn’t revel the steps in the first recording, but would you be curious enough to continue?
Thanks for the reply and kind words,
You gave me some things to think about.Scott Hogue CChH

Hi Scott:
You are clearly so much more experienced than me I feel awkward sharing my feedback. If the people who will see this page already know that you can help them, then I don’t think my comments apply.
But for the people who are looking to solve a problem I don’t think your story, entertaining though it is, will let them know that you
1. Understand how they feel.
2. Understand their problem.
3. Have effective/affordable ways to help them.
4. Can get them some relief fast.I really love that quote There are 3 steps to wealth…just three. That, to me, is an exciting promise.
It says to me that I have made it too complicated, and that you can make it easier for me.
When you tell me here that it is much more complicated and that I have to understand psychology and do exercises before you can even tell me what the steps are then you have lost me.Here’s what would appeal to me for Audio Part 1 (and I am making up these steps, of course).
The 3 steps to wealth are focus, direction and persistence. But the whole secret to wealth is not just knowing what the steps are, it is learning how to take them. Together we will explore each step, and I promise I will keep simple, and easy to learn. Stay with me through the next five audios and you will be well on your way to breakthroughs with your money that you can’t even imagine right now.
I know you are tired, and frustrated. I know you have been struggling. I know that because I struggled too. And I struggled for years. In audio Part 3 I will tell you more about my struggles and how I overcame them all to be in the position I’m in today. But for now let me assure you that every challenge I overcame was for a reason, and at the end of this course you will understand that your frustrations and struggles have served a powerful purpose in your life, just as mine have. You will see how well prepared you are for the next phase of your journey into prosperity.
Something like that…
