I am working with a benefits company, a broker and an Employer Assistance company in a joint project.
I am wanting to promote this program to businesses in my state and even surrounding states, but not across the nation. At least not yet do to licensing and distance constraints.
I have a website. In the past for local promotion I used business…[Read more]

Evidently something changed. I dropped by as I start a new project and notice you can’t get some places from here. You mentioned decoupling, can you clue me in?
Thanks,

Steve Allen replied to the topic Affiliate Recording in the forum Ask Anything 6 years, 9 months ago
Hey Don-
You have to be using an affiliate software or network. That’s why so many people use W+ and JVZoo…because they are two easy networks to use that have the software built in that records the cookies when someone visits so they know where the sale came from. There are tons of affiliate networks to sell your stuff through that will do the…[Read more] -

How do affiliate sales get recorded.
If I have a landing page for signups and others send traffic there, how do they get the credit?
Looking for the simplest method.

Does anyone have or know where to find Sean’s instructions for preparing a 10×10 matrix. I’m not looking for an interpretation or paraphrase, but the lesson Sean teaches on the matrix.

Thanks for posting this Bruce. One of the quotes in the video that rang so true is that “greatness is a lot of small tasks done well.“ It is so easy for us to get caught up trying to be great by doing one or two big tasks that are impressive instead of just doing a lot of small things well. Thanks again for the post.

Scott Hogue replied to the topic How do you cope with illness? in the forum Ask Anything 6 years, 9 months ago
I did go blind in 2011 after my last mission trip to Africa. The dehydration pulled the retina and clouded the vitreous fluid in my eyes. The first surgery was a disaster and I was soon black as night blind in one eye as almost the entire retina came loose and still couldn’t see much out of the other eye. Two more surgeries that year saved the eye…[Read more]

Hope you are better now Bruce.
I guess I cope by fighting it.
Illness can be pretty brutal and at best limits you and at worst shuts you down. Last year I had three eye surgeries and with activity restrictions I lost a lot of productivity, not to mention physical fitness as I gained a few pounds. This year I had a week with a bad stomach bug,…[Read more]

Sean’s suggestion to read the book ONE THING changed how I do things. Now I don’t have a list of 20 things but just 1 to make me feel like I accomplished something worth while. And it is amazing when you do things that way how often the one thing gets done and you can move on to something else that would probably be tomorrow’s one thing and you…[Read more]

Sean is right…Google doesn’t care about YOU…Google cares about Google’s bottom line. But it all then goes back to a couple things.
If you create content that benefits your readers, Google will rank you and you’ll benefit along with your readers. And…even though Google might have ads that show up ahead of your organic search engine your…[Read more] -
Steve Allen replied to the topic Are you worth $100K? in the forum Post Anything 6 years, 10 months ago
Great thread…hopefully making those who read it look further into whether what they offer is worth what they hope to make. Jen is right that everyone needs a clearly defined niche and a unique hook, but as Sean replies, even if what you offer isn’t as “awesome” as some other ‘cup of coffee’ in the same niche, as long as your tribe trusts you…[Read more]

Great Question Julia,
It invokes true thought and should make anyone who reads it really think through their site(s).
I however, have 2 questions (maybe suggestions) for you.
Have you intentionally made it difficult for people on you site to get your guide? Most squeeze page sites are simple with no scrolling and easy to see that there is only…[Read more] -

Bruce- Your latest comments are very true but most marketers don’t think of the value of their time so keep ‘spending a dollar (in time) to save a dime’. If you have zero money it can be a way to get started but after you’re started, your area of expertise is not ‘everything’. Spend a little to save a lot (of time which is money). Great post.

Yes Jen, the video I’m referring to is the small one of YOU inside the larger one of your screen. It is not at all that YOU are too big but that the video of you covers up a pretty significant amount of your screen. I’m not sure what software you’re using but the size is usually just a click and drag the corner resizing just before you render…[Read more]

Not an “Ask Me” but a “Share” and not sure where else to post it. This looks interesting – and there is a free option at least for the first year, it says. As someone else mentioned elsewhere, it could potentially provide another possibility for meeting web accessibility guidelines. Could also help with marketing and traffic, I would think. Jen,
I gave a ‘like’ and commented on your youtube channel. Great job just DOING something. It doesn’t have to be PERFECT. (not saying it is not…just giving you props for getting something going!). One small suggestion for your video… the picture of you inside the screen you are recording could be a little smaller so that it doesn’t cover…[Read more] - Load More
