Great thread…hopefully making those who read it look further into whether what they offer is worth what they hope to make. Jen is right that everyone needs a clearly defined niche and a unique hook, but as Sean replies, even if what you offer isn’t as “awesome” as some other ‘cup of coffee’ in the same niche, as long as your tribe trusts you…[Read more]

Great Question Julia,
It invokes true thought and should make anyone who reads it really think through their site(s).
I however, have 2 questions (maybe suggestions) for you.
Have you intentionally made it difficult for people on you site to get your guide? Most squeeze page sites are simple with no scrolling and easy to see that there is only…[Read more] -

hi again Malik,
I submitted my email details for the free download, but I didn’t receive anything in my inbox…or spam folder. So you might want to check that out. I used my regular AOL account when providing my email address.
So I, very cheekily, clicked on Norma’s link and hot an MP 3 file which I will have listen to, or at least part listen…[Read more]

Hi Malik,
Is it you and your team behind this? If so massive kudos to you for getting something out there.
If they are your products, or you have some exclusive right deal, can you give us some idea of the success you have had using the various methods recommended by this bundled set of courses.
We don’t need exact figures, just things like it…[Read more]

Bruce- Your latest comments are very true but most marketers don’t think of the value of their time so keep ‘spending a dollar (in time) to save a dime’. If you have zero money it can be a way to get started but after you’re started, your area of expertise is not ‘everything’. Spend a little to save a lot (of time which is money). Great post.

Yes great point, Facebook is a means to an end – as a way to get people ON your list.
You can send them wherever you want. Your blog, a squeeze page, article, video, or another site/page within Facebook.
Any of these strategies can be used to take the conversation OFF FB where you have more control.
But it’s the same with many platforms. If you…[Read more] -

Thanks Julie, for the great answers and all your work taken to get this FB strategy to us.
The only thing I would say is that I am entirely aware that you have to put excellent stuff out there, and indeed the best of my entry level materials would be better than most paid products currently being offered and this, of course, should be given away…[Read more]

Hi Julia,
It’s weird but sometimes I am already logged into PreneurPal even after logging out.
Interesting to know about not having to be logged into PreneurPal to check the Ask Anything section. Although I still don’t think their would be more than a handful of people doing that. If they were that interested they would login and have a look…[Read more]

Sean sent me an exercise to create a document of steps I take people through.
While working on this today I noticed there were some areas of my website that aren’t really in alignment with where I want people to go.
I’m all for people going down a rabbit trail on my site, as long as it leads them to more information about what I offer.
But for…[Read more]

I just thought I’d add my 2 cents.
I had ignored the friend requests for a time because the friend and group functionality was not in place.
I’ve responded to a few requests but I think that it really does not serve much of a purpose at this time.As far as member login, I check regularly to see if there is a topic I can help on or if I have a…[Read more]

Hi Jen,
I left a comment on your video, reviewing the Logo Creator on your YT channel. You are enthusiastic and I am sure you will improve over time.

Yes Jen, the video I’m referring to is the small one of YOU inside the larger one of your screen. It is not at all that YOU are too big but that the video of you covers up a pretty significant amount of your screen. I’m not sure what software you’re using but the size is usually just a click and drag the corner resizing just before you render…[Read more]

Hi again Jen,
I subscribed to your YT channel and had written some comments on one of your reviews. Then, because I had set it on Play all, the video moved onto your next one and I lost the whole of my comment. Then the sound went on Youtube, which was weird. Not the fault of my machine though, as I then played a Facebook video. I will try again…[Read more]

Hi Jen,
I’m sure you have heard this all before but you have to make your business part of your routine. It helps that you are interested in what you are doing. Make it a habit and increase output, if possible, exponentially to start with until you get some traction and start earning money.
Hard slog work in the beginning equals easier more…[Read more]

Hi All,
Around a week ago I asked a similar question about Friend Requests. I stated that I would cancel any friend requests I had made if there was no response. Some of these friend requests had been outstanding since the inception of PreneurPal.
I have now had to cancel friends requests I sent to six members. Three have not logged in for over…[Read more]

Les,
Thanks so much for the response, and the friends request! I did go in and accept.
I appreciate what you’re saying, about finding an honest review community. I would like to find that, but figured, I have to start somewhere. Til today I had a YT channel with videos with no likes, and only a few views. Gotta get the ball rolling somewhere (at…[Read more] -

Steve,
Yes, thanks so much for visiting the channel and giving my first YT comment! 😀Oh, I have no qualms admitting it’s far from perfect! I have a long way to go, but then again, it’s also completely new territory for me. I always shied away from videos and did screencasts instead, so the “video-within-a-screencast” seems like the perfect…[Read more]
