Hi Malik – thank you for welcoming me to this forum, I appreciate it. I see you’ve been fairly active. Please tell me what have you learned so far? I’m curious on how to get and give the most value! Thanks.

… Answer my questions above only if you feel comfortable doing so. I don’t mean to pry into private information.

I hope you don’t mind, I’m just curious, but no worries if my questions are not appropriate! 🙂 Thanks!

Norma – I liked your site a lot. Did you build it all by yourself? It has useful content, but not too cluttered, with the right amount of white space.

What is the main way you get income, adwords?

    I saw you promote webinars.

Do you earn income through webinars?

By the way the time stamps above are not correct. My first post, I believe should have been 12:07 PM, EST and the second entry at 12:32 AM EST.

Question: Apart from a navigation guide of some kind that I suggested above, is there some way to make this site more intuitive?

Hi Everyone – I do think that the new system is easier and the choices that I like the best are: Question 2. example B & Question 3. example D.

In the spirit of helpfulness my one suggestion is to have a navigation menu or navigation directions for those who, like me, have not spent a lot of time in forums or WP blogs and are not experienced and familiar with navigating to where I want to go. (I think Bruce Hoag made this type of suggestion in this thread above… please correct me if I’m wrong about this)!

The guessing and trial-and-error are frustrating and time consuming and so the experience and feeling of spending too much time here is not as pleasant as it could be. Let us get around the site quickly and easily :)!

Please don’t misunderstand, I enjoy meeting new, like-minded people, getting to know others better, asking and answering questions, helping others where I can etc… I just think the technical set up could be more user friendly, especially for people who are new at this.

Hi Everyone – My name is Onofrio Fiorentino, and my nick name is Norf, which is what all my family and friends call me, so please call me Norf.

Some of my main interests for now are: Health and Wellness, Internet Marketing, Affiliate Marketing, List Building, and Lead Generation, and a few more topics related to marketing so I would love to interact with anyone and help those who have the same interests.

I have some expertise in Direct Marketing, Affiliate Marketing and Network Marketing and I’m very interested in leveraging the Internet to automate and accelerate business growth.

My biggest problems stem from being extremely time-challenged. So I’m working on ways to be more efficient with the little time I have for activities that are outside of my main business interests.

After years of experience I’ve learned that it is critical to spend sufficient time-on-essential-task(s) to get profitable as soon as possible. So, anyone who has these same interests and challenges lets interact.

Hi Norma – Thanks for the greeting and welcome note. What city are you in? (I used to live in Winnipeg).

Please clarify: your photo name is Norma Allen and yet you ended your greeting by typing: Norma Esler.

    Thanks!

Wow Bruce, you’ve set up a detailed, robust list of criteria and characteristics that are very useful. I’ll be sure to refer to it once i’m ready to partner and look for partners!

The only 4 traits I would add are: 1) leadership ability, and… 2) a “people person” with great people skills.

It would also be nice to find people who have 3) great communication skills, including listening skills.

Oh, and 4) the ability to inspire others would be amazing as well.

Hi Everyone, Many years ago, when I first started dabbling with building websites, and I used HostGator as my hosting company, I used their built-in site builder which, interestingly enough they called: SiteBuilder.

It was a simple, basic builder and I’ve since moved on since I dumped Hostgator and took down those simple sites. I also have a basic understanding of HTML which comes in handy from time to time.

I, like you Bob, purchased Bilderall a while back when it first launched as I wanted the built-in hosting and locked-in price. And I have not needed to use it yet so I would like to know your thoughts on it once you’ve played around with it.

I have a few questions: What does Beaver Builder have that the others builders don’t have? Is it the best out there right now? Does anyone here know? Thanks in advance!

    Congratulations Scott.

Few people are willing to put in the hard work required, especially when first getting started and launching off the ground.

We all appreciate your efforts and hard work.

Thanks to all of you who took Sean’s launch challenge!

P.S. Scott, I’m just curious… what does CChH represent?

Hi Everyone – I want to help others with the challenges they face, if and when I have the knowledge or ability to do so, as time permits!

My big challenge stems from the fact that I’m in a very fluid situation and almost everything is urgent at the time it surfaces and there’s only 24 hours in a day! So, I hope to get concrete suggestions on how to manage myself and my business building activities, (traditionally called time management, a term which I don’t like because it is inaccurate).

I have an existing business that, after a big slump, I’m now rebuilding, using old, established methods that are proven to work but in slow growth, traditional ways.

I’m also here because I’m aiming to leverage the power of the internet and technology to power-up and speed-up and to rebuild bigger and faster than ever before. And, I hope to establish great relationships here with the possibility of setting up Joint Ventures which would be mutually beneficial.

A foundational principle I stick to and follow is to help people, with physical, emotional, spiritual and financial health and wellness, and, not to brag in any way… I’ve have had some good success at helping people in those ways.

Having said that, we must be aware of what I call the “seduction of technology” which can be very alluring and enticing but takes our focus away from the human side of business, … if we let that happen.

I’m sure you are all aware of the issues that often arise due to the downside of technology, and thankfully the human side of business is one of Sean’s strong suits which he has placed prominently as an integral part of his business building!

Hi Bruce – thanks for the tips and suggestions. I already have a copy of Perry’s book and I’ve skimmed Richard’s book at the book store.

Hi Bruce – This may not be the best place to make this quick comment but I’ve had a bit of trouble navigating to the right place to thank you to your welcome message. (I hope I don’t mess up this thread) 🙂

Thanks for the detailed suggestion about the “80 – 20 rule”. I have been familiar with it and have used it a little, but I could be more disciplined and deliberate about it, so it is good to be reminded in detail about the application and benefits of it!

By the way I live in Montreal, Canada, where I’ve lived most of my life. Thanks again.

Hi Leslie – Thanks for welcoming me to the group. There’s certainly many good ideas and suggestions shared with you here to “chew on”!

Based on what you said here in this thread you seem to well suited in the field/niche of counselling… just a hunch!

I was a school guidance counsellor in my “past life” for about 7 years and I picked up that vibe in your comments and in the way you described yourself. Maybe with some research, study and fine tuning to niche-down, there may be a good fit, if there is a fit at all.

Only you will know for sure upon reflection and getting feedback from those who know you really well.

Also, a key question to ask yourself might be: Where do you want to be in 3 – 5 years from now and still feel really good about yourself!
