I am a huge fan of building your own platform or at the very least have a say in what goes on (like we do here).
I have been slapped by Google so many times that I have lost count.
I haven since moved into product creation and coaching.

I started in the late 90’s selling Specialty Merchandise Corporation (SMC) products on eBay. That was before PayPal, we used to receive checks through the mail.
Then I started building minisites/affiliate sites, then authority sites in the get your ex back niche, and then got into product creation.

Free Methods: I use the warrior forum/product launches, Instagram, YouTube, document sharing sites, and I still do seo.
Out of the above Methods I prefer product launches (only buyers on your list).

I prefer the ghost writing niche for this forum.
I personally do not want to give my future prospects to many options. I find the more options I provide, the more confused my prospect becomes, and the more questions I have to answer before they take action.

I too suffer from perfectionism. I have products on my hard drive that I have never launched.
I thought that the product had to cover everything. That my product had to have everything for everybody.
Now I go through my product twice and put it out. I let the market sharpen my product.

My biggest distraction is my new 7 month old daughter, every time she makes a sound, I pick her up and play with her well into the limited time I have to work on my business.

I agree with Bruce a month is not long enough to determine if it is working.
Besides content syndication are you also actively back linking.
If your business can be portrayed with images, I would use Instagram and/Pinterest.
Pinterest has a lot of features that force your content to go viral.

I like to see projects that I under took a while ago and almost forgot about start bearing fruit. Ex: A bump in website traffic and you have no idea where it came from until you do a little research.

This technique was popular several years ago. The software would claim that your offers/posts would go viral. The software would not give you the freebie until you entered 3 friends emails/Twitter or some such thing. I did not hear of people having a lot of success with this method.
