I am also a fan of beaver builder plus I also use thrive themes. Things have come along way from building websites with html and these tools make it so easy to do. It used to take a week to build a 10 page website with all content, images etc. whereas now with these tools I can build one in a hour or two. I can now build a ecommerce site in a day. It has made it so much easier for online marketers to get online 🙂

Hi Dana,
I can give you some advise on the design and let someone else who is an expert on copy to talk about copy. Not sure what program you are using for landing page but can it be centered on the page? Make you heading bigger so that it has more of an impact as this is what capture peoples attention. Also make your book a 3d design, I did one using your book cover an have attached it for you. This should also help with the balance of book on left and copy on right. Simple fixes I hope they help 🙂

I think the thing that distracts me the most is how much should I have in the first launch of a product (ie am I giving enough, does it need more etc) so then I start wasting time checking out competitor to see, but I am trying to trust my research and then my gut to just put it out 🙂

I have had an online business since 1997 building website, but only worked one on one with clients so really more of a job I created for myself, perfect because I had 5 children to look after. As they are now grown I have a different goal for myself.
I am now looking at a new business model (started 1 month ago) and using my existing knowledge it is ecommerce so learning about retail has been interesting.
I am also looking at a second business but are trying to decided if I should do this and the setup of it? Only time will tell, maybe I will ask this group what they think 🙂

I think one of the best tips I could share being able to quickly duplicate what you do. Have template make up for eBooks creation, social media content, eBook covers, squeeze pages etc. So when you need to create another one you are already part way there with the set up.
This can also work with one on one coaching i.e. have questionnaire for client and your list of standard question that you then expand on. All of this not only saves time it makes you consistent and that has a huge impact on your day/week and your results.

Hi I also use PLR, but I always rewrite it and use it as an outline and research. It can help you write something quicker if you are using good PLR content.

I think the biggest thing when you are going to promote a JV is to make sure it works for your list. If you are building a rapport with your people and then you send them to things that are not going to help them they will just stop trusting you and then won’t open your emails.

I know I have several people I follow and recently one started sending me to JV every email and not even giving me a reason why, just ‘canned’ generic email “hey I thought you would like this etc”. So I now don’t even open her emails anymore.

So JV is wonderful if it helps, give value, and solves a problem not just to make you money. This way your list will trust you and when you send the JV to them (especially on a launch when they are getting if from heaps of other lists) they will buy though you.

List Building – I usually use a free product on a squeeze page and then an autoresponder series to upsell. Depending on the product I may send them straight to the paid product on the download page or after download page. I use solo ads to get more subscribers.

Facebook and Social Media – I was using Facebook but I am not at the moment as it’s not giving good results so am doing some testing to see if I can improve this. Boosting post still is getting subscribers and then I follow up with email campaign. Also about to use Instagram shout outs to see if this will work.

I have set up 100’s of WordPress websites over the years and I agree keeping in updated is very important. With your plugin things to look for when you are deciding to use them are:
– When were they last updated, because if old they may not be compatible or secure
– Active Installation and Rating, you are looking for a lot of people using it and a good rating
The security one I am using is https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-cerber/ there are heaps out there but am happy with this one.

Oh Don I so get you I am in the same boat as you so I am not sure if I can offer advise but I can say I am trying to do more for myself and so everyday I aim to do one thing that will give “me” value I treat myself as if I am a client and see if I have help my client that do to achieve their goal.
As for selecting a niche how about working backwards from where you want to be to now. For example I want to be able to in 5 years time be working with xx people and solving this problem with them! No much but a start 🙂

I think the biggest thing I want to learn is what to do now.
I have been working for over 15 years as a web developer and graphic designer and another 10 years before that as just a graphic designer. I LOVE tech I love working out how to do things and making design and tech come together. I will spend hours doing something that I was told couldn’t be done i.e. plugins working together etc.

I have done business coaching but it’s not for me. I have created some courses, but I am struggling simply because I see all the variable of things that you could also do, and things may go wrong. I want to give all this information as well and have found two things 1. that most people just want the quick how to not dig deep and 2. I will keep adding to the course and never promote it because I think there is more to add.

This bring me to my current problem of where to go business wise …. do I keep struggling to make courses or go back to design work? Would people be interested in done for you packages (I do set up and they then fill in information) i.e. package with website, email campaigns, membership area etc. etc. Maybe I could make a standard setup with 3 themes, 2 email campaign choices, recommended plugins etc. That way I could duplicate many components to keep the price down. Or do I go onto something totally different?

So, to answer Sean questions…
I want to learn where to take my focus to create a sustainable business for now and in the future
I want to meet interesting and fun people that are passionate about working online
I want to collaborate with people that love working for themselves but get how amazing it would be to have someone to bounce ideas off
I want to have access to a community of people wanting to learn
I want to continue to make money online, but grow an expandable business model that helps people with the tech side of being online (I think?) 😊

I have previously got VA through https://www.onlinejobs.ph/ and I was happy with the girl I got, it was just for a one of project and she was happy for that. There is a fee to join, but even if you don’t use them they have a lot education and information on how to hire a VA. Hope this helps 🙂

Hey Joe I have seen a few of these done really well, I haven’t done it myself. An example of one done well is https://theninjanetworker.com/free they put you through a free bootcamp for MLM (you sign up with messenger) and then they send out a message everyday or two. They plugin they are using is Manychat btw.

Statistic say that giving a guarantee shows you are confident in your product and that you believe in it so much that giving a guarantee is only for the customers piece of mind and you don’t think they will need it. Also many of the affiliate platforms like clickbank you must give a guarantee. 🙂

Hey Scott, Many people don’t realise it’s a recorded webinar instead of a live one so that may not be a factor. I think it comes down to which works better for both you and your audience.
Questions to consider: Do you need to get them to ask actual questions as part of your webinar? Are you confident enough to run a live event and cover the necessary topic and engage with audience? Then a live one would be needed.
Do you want to make sure you stay on track and give the information out rather than answer question? Are you still honing your skills for webinars? Does giving multiple time slots work better over bringing a large group together for a live event? Then a recorded one (where you can edit etc) may be the way to go.
Honestly I believe there is no right or wrong answer just which one works for you and engages your audience, you can always to a split test (same content one live one recorded) as see which one gets the best response 🙂

Hi Agree with both James and Elaine, research is the keys seeing what is the standard norm by going to places such as jvzoo, clickbank, warrior forum, amazon (books and kindle) does help to decide on pricing, but also assessing what value you are giving. Also as you get a reputation for good courses than you can increase you prices to reflect your experience.

Hi I either put it up on a flip site or do a full set up and offer it in a group with all things set up (where they only need to add there own content) thinking about taking this further at the moment to offer this service so it includes a email campaign set up, a landing page etc. Just doing some testing and research to see if viable.
